Saturday morning I had a headache that just didn't seem to go away. Aspirin didn't work, nor did having breakfast. Ah but finally a cure arrived in the form of a knock at our front door. It was the postman with a special delivery package all the way from Australia! I knew that it had to be my 4SQS 5 quilt. I laughed as soon as I opened it up to see that it was from Emma of Sampaguita Quilts. You see I had admired the little sneak peek that she had posted on her blog. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised and thrilled to discover that my home was its destination.
This was a monochromatic challenge so I requested blues and/or greens as my color with my favorite season, Spring. Emma nailed it on the head! I love the colors! It's even accented with sparkly rhinestones and a few fabrics with metallic silver accents ... truly perfection.

As soon as I saw it I knew the perfect spot for it in my studio. I took down the Disney cell of Cinderella's dress (that went on the other side of the window) and hung up this quilt. Doesn't it look like it was made especially for that little wall? Thank you Emma! And thank you Margaret for hosting this swap!
