As you can see, I've made some progress since last night. Now she has hair, hat, skirt and she even is wearing earrings! The missing piece of her wardrobe is her jacket (sitting on the cutting table to the right of her). But I'm exhausted and need to finish cleaning the house because we have company tomorrow morning. She's almost done.
Here's a closeup of her face. I even added the finishing touch to her face ... some eyelashes. Doesn't she look quite jaunty with her tilted hat?
She looks to sweet to be a gossiper! Love those eyes and eyelashes, and the colors in her costume work very well together. I look forward to seeeing her finished.
I'm so sorry about the loss of your step dad.

Dolls have a special place in the memory of almost every girl child. They are the most favorite toys of girls. Handmade dolls are beautiful and unique. Above Doll is looking great.
