May I present Erlinda, the handmaiden faerie. She's in charge of Queen Titania's bowers. She gathers fresh moss, weaves twigs into beds and coaxes the flowers into sparkling and giving off the fragrance of love. She's very good at her job. Unfortunately one time the King was rather frustrated at his Queen's handmaiden, but that is a story for another day.
More views from her portrait sitting:
And pictures of how she progressed from a little bit of Fimo at Wendy Froud's workshop last February:
I highly recommend Wendy Froud's workshop, and if you can't take it, then the next best thing is her DVD - Creating a Faery Figure with Wendy Froud. As you can see, I changed the doll a lot after I returned home. I didn't like the initial way that I had glued on her skirt. I was much happier after I ripped it off and sewed it on properly. Plus I found a much better fabric for her underskirt. I'm thrilled to have finished her. Especially since this weekend I'm attending Toby Froud's rod puppet workshop with my friends. It'll be good to work on another sculpted doll again. Hopefully this time it won't take me the better part of a year to finish it.

She's lovely. The moss green hair definitely lends her an appropriately garden-y look. The process is very cool to see too. Thanks for sharing.
