Before we left for Wyoming I had ordered a Sizzix Big Shot die cutter and a few quilting dies. Other than trying out one die with paper I didn't have time to play with it. Well I finally took a couple hours to have fun with it and my box of scraps.
I've always wanted to make a triangle quilt with my scraps so my first die was the 4" Isoceles and Right Triangle. It was amazing! I was able to cut through 10 layers of fabrics. I took this pile of scraps (ironed them before cutting)...
...and was able to get this nice pile of at least 80 big triangles and around 20 or so half triangles (any extras can be pieced together to make a scrappy big triangle).
I'll probably use Victoria Findlay Wolfe's idea of making fabric from scraps for the pile of smaller pieces. Now I can't wait to start laying out my triangles for a quilt. So I'd say it's a big yes to the Sizzix Big Shot. Thanks to Badskirt's helpful review about it before buying one I was able to decide on the Big Shot vs. the AccuQuilt Go Baby. My only concern is that the Sizzix site seems to be out of stock of some key quilting dies. Hopefully they'll come back in stock soon. Now it's time for sewing.

DD#2 and I played with our GO! Cutter yesterday. We love it
BUT ten layers? I think NOT!
Big difference in cost between your link to Amazon and the company site.
Am I going to have to buy the Big Shot? I sure don't want to be envious.
Btw, we have our big winter storm today ----- must have two inches ???????
Oh well, at least it's a couple inches
Hugs
