New Banner Is Up!

I created a new banner to replace the stock color banner that I had yesterday. As I learn more things about typepad, I'll probably change the look again. But for right now, I'm pretty happy with how this is looking.

On another note, I just got another freelance design project to do. That means that I'll finally be able to replace the broken scanner with a new one ... a better one. All in all, it's turning out to be a pretty good day.  :-)

First Post

Yay! This is my first post ever. I've been wanting to start a blog for over a year now and finally got around to doing it. I've been reading all sorts of lovely crafting blogs that are written by the most creative people.

So, my reasons for starting my own blog are:  a) get inspired to finish my works-in-projects  b) get feedback on new projects  and c) be more creative.

Oh, and the reason why I chose the name Lemon Tree Tales is because I have a very nice lemon tree in the backyard.  (And lemon trees make me smile!)
