I'm still in the middle of the freelance project. My deadline is this Friday! Yikes! But I figured that I'd make a quick post of two dolls that I made this past November. They were for my friend's granddaughters as part of an exchange. In return I received a beautiful clay sculpted menorah.
Here's the doll photos (forgive the bad quality, I was in a rush to deliver them and didn't have time to really light them properly):
They were made using Patti Culea's pattern: Frances Elizabeth, Mary Belle & their friend Davey Bob. The shoes are velvet, the little toys are felt, and the faces are drawn with colored pencil and Micron pens. (I always have a tendency to make the faces too light. I'll have to work on making them a bit more vibrant.)
