Ah, finally here's what you've been waiting for - pictures of some of the amazing quilts exhibited at Alden Nursery this past weekend. Now the majority of the quilts were made by Valori Wells and her mom, Jean Wells. When I managed to jot down the number of the quilt I have the actual title and quilter. Unfortunately some of them I didn't get that info, so instead I'll give you a list of the quilters who also participated in the show. If anyone knows of the number, title or quilter for a particular quilt please let me know and I'll edit this post. The pictures aren't the greatest, too many were in hard spots to get a straight on shot. These are more for getting an idea of how many gorgeous quilts were on display.

In one building were lots of quilts using starbursts. I loved all the colors and this quilt hanging on the outside of the building gave the right introduction.

Similar pattern, but such a different effect when using these beautiful Japanese prints.
One of my favorite quilts there ... such gorgeous colors! The little bits of green and fuchsia just help to make this soar. Simply amazing! More to come later ...
