It's been a long time, hasn't it? If it weren't for Sandi checking in on me it may have been another few weeks before I had some creative goodies to share with you. Oops! Suffice it to say that it's been over a year since my husband lost his job and it's been a little stressful here. Fortunately we have Fearghus to keep us on track. He is a funny dog at times ... here he's doing his best to imitate an otter:
Other things that have kept me sane have been doll making with my friends and of course making fascinator hats number 7 & 8 in lovely shades of teal and another turquoise one.
I'm almost finished with these little hats. There's just one final one to make and that's lucky hat no.9 for me. It's fuchsia and my deadline is another couple of weeks - just in time for the Flying Phoebes doll club Halloween silent auction meeting. In between working on that I'm also helping Miss L sew her Halloween costume. We've broken it up into short meetings on Wednesdays but I may have to work on it with her this weekend. After all Halloween is just around the corner. What are your plans for it? Any costumes in your future?
