While I was away on vacation the postman delivered a package ... it was my FLiPS pincushion from hunnybee1977 (Melissa) in Canada. Wow, what a sweet pincushion! Melissa used wools and sculpted the little gnome and mini mushroom out of salt dough and then painted and sealed them. It's just too adorable! Doesn't it look great outside? But no, it's destined for my sewing room. I may even decide that it should live in the living room on the side table so that I always have a pincushion nearby for my hand sewing work.
Melissa even added these two lovely fat quarters for my stash. Thank you so much Melissa!!
