The main part of the Ohio Stars quilt top is sewn ... now I just have to work on two borders for it. I know that I want the first border to have four hourglass blocks in the centers. I'm just not sure of the colors. In the meantime I'll take another break and walk the dogs. I'm almost packed. Wouldn't you know that I left most of my long sleeved shirts in Wyoming? Luckily I have quite a few sweaters that I can take for the chilly days in Pacific Grove.
One thing I did notice is that my 1/4" foot isn't very accurate. Once the blocks were sewn I measured them and they were 12 3/8" not 12 1/2". Oops. Not to worry, I just cut the plain blocks to match.
