Today was the perfect day to drive down to the dog park in Fort Collins, CO so that the dogs could play in the snow. There was just a very light sprinkling of snow in the air, less than 6" of snow piled up, hardly any wind at all and fairly nice temps of 20 degrees. What's more, Fearghus and Fiona met two little miniature Aussie shepherds who wanted to play chase. Here's just a few snaps of the action.
And my favorite shot of the day is the one of Fearghus .. look at those fierce, sharp white teeth and those snowballs on his legs.
We all enjoyed ourselves and the dogs definitely got a work out in the snow. Poor things had to be held up to the car heaters long enough to melt the snowballs off of them before we'd put them in their crates for the drive back home. We can't wait until we do it again.
