2017 started off with some sewing of little handmade sewn gifts for all of my longarm quilting clients at The Quilted Lemon. I like to find something that will be useful but that also are easily shipped. This year I remembered the cute triangle thread catchers that I've made before using Needling Things' thread catcher tutorial. They're fairly quick and easy to make. And rather than sewing on buttons for the three corners, I tacked them down with a silver embroidery floss. I also had some of my logo buttons remaining from last year's trip to QuiltCon. Rather than make my own triangle template, I just cut out triangles using my 12" 60 degree triangle ruler for faster cutting. They are adorable gifts so think of them the next time you need to make something.
